Dr. Elizabeth Perkins is the Founder of Elizabeth Perkins Ministries and Power In The Word Fellowship. She walks in an Apostolic, Prophetic and Evangelistic Anointing. She has preached the Gospel in the U.S. and Internationally. She has traveled to Africa where she preached and held healing conferences in Nigeria. In Nigeria, she preached the Word of God in Benin City, Wari, Sapele in Delta State and other villages.
She has worked in a number of areas in her professional career. She has served as a Teacher in the Houston Independent School District and CEP Charter School. She also has labored and taught girls in runaway homes and transitional living centers for youth in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In her journey of education and teaching at risk girls, she understood one of her assignments was to help girls change their world. As a result of her passion, she recently launched Elizabeth University, a Christian Educational Training School for Girls where she provides educational, empowerment and theology classes and Daughters On The Front Line where she offers seminars, mentors girls and provides counseling.
She is a Poet, Trailblazer and Creator of Elizabeth Publishing House where she houses her books and other works from various authors. She is the Author ofExcess Baggage, Excess Baggage Workbook, Woman Behind The Mask, The Fight Of My Life, Woman Of Many Nations and Man Of Many Nations, Two Powerful Collection of Inspirational Poetry Books. She is also the founder of Excess Baggage Conference, The Fight Of My Life Conference and Woman Behind The Mask Conference which was birthed and designed to heal women from their pains of their past. Her Annual Women’s Conference is held every September.
Dr. Perkins was raised in Orange, Texas. She has been a native of Houston since 1987. She served 8 years in the United States Naval Reserves where she received an Honorable Discharge. She received her Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and English from Prairie View A&M University and her Master’s Degree in Theology from Oral Roberts University School of Theology and Missions in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
As an Intercessor and a Prayer Warrior, Prophetess Elizabeth Perkins messages of truth, encouragement and deliverance have touched the lives of people who have struggled with the pains from their past, such as abandonment, depression, low self-esteem, suicide, abortion and other inward scars.
She currently host weekly ministry meetings, seminars, workshops and conferences. She continues to write books and educational training manuals. As a Prophetess and a Pastor in the Kingdom and a Woman who is submitted to the will of the Lord.
Dr. Elizabeth Perkins Ministry is manifest with compassion for the lost, troubled souls and the forgotten as well as healing, deliverance and miracles. She is fully persuaded that her ministry is to set the captives free and release them into their destiny.
